Studio Leftovers in Blue Print
About Studio Leftovers in Blue Print
This piece was created utilizing recycled materials from the art-making process. The "studio leftovers" in this piece include recycled oil paint, paint tubes, and a palette knife sourced from artists' palettes. This series repurposes graphite and charcoal pencil shavings, used masking tape, and other found objects such as used paint tubes and paper palettes. Unlike more traditional artistic mediums, artistic waste cannot be purchased or manufactured; it must be generated from past creation.
These materials serve as artifacts of the creative process, telling the visual story of artistic pursuit. Custom print of original sculpture, viewable here.
